George Martin is a Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe originally from the Whitefish community of the reservation. George discusses growing up on the reservation and memories of some of the families in his community, tradition ceremonies and gathering resources. In this video Martin talks about military service and his interest in artwork with the French style Council Pipe.

George also discusses leaving for the military service for the job, and with memories of his friends back home. Gathering food and choking rabbits in his neighborhood.
