Riverton, Wyoming (AP) May 2011

The work force training coordinator at Central Wyoming College in Lander has been recognized for her efforts to help Native American small business owners.

Anne Even was chosen as the minority small business champion of the year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Even has been a work force training coordinator at the college since August of last year. She’s responsible for coordinating training that supports and helps improve performance, productivity and profitability of small businesses in the state.

KTAK radio in Riverton reports one of her ideas was to develop a market for sale of local Native American artwork.
