Frank E. Crone, age 47 of LCO, passed away February 10, 2009.
Frank Franko Eugene was born February 16, 1961 in Chicago, IL, the son of Frank & Carol (Frogg) Crone. He served in the US Army from Jan. 14, 1981 Aug. 26, 1983.Franko has lived many years in LCO and also resided in Milwaukee and Black River Fall with his Ho Chunk relatives. He has had many jobs in the construction field.
Every year he has been the Arena Director for the LCO Honor the Earth, sang with the Badger Singers and also with the Cloud Boys. He enjoyed the pow-wow trail, learning of his heritage by being a full time student at the LCO Community College. Franko believed in helping others, he always meant well. His children meant the world to him.
He is survived by his children Bryce Crone & Camryn Miller; brothers Jeff & (Cathy) Crone, Arnold (Terri) Crone, Myron (Patti) Crone, Steve (Linda) Crone, sisters Patsy (Rick) Crone, Kim (Cash) Crone; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews
Frank was preceded in death by his parents and brother Tim Nelson.
Tribal Funeral Rites were held February 13 at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Burial was in Round Lake Cemetery, with Military Honors provided by the LCO AMVETS Post 1998.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be Beanie Barber, Rusty Barber, Roger Baker, Bob Blackdeer, Paul DeMain, Craig Gouge, Jim Gouge Sr., Willard Gouge Jr., Joe Sam Grover, James Lasieur, Scott Penass, Duck White & Louis White.
Casket Bearers will be Stuart Belille, Bill Cadotte, Preston Stoney Larson, Jim Miller, Denny Quaderer & Paul Rink Stevens.
