Allen, Donnie Lee

Donnie Lee Allen, 40, walked on Friday, September 12, at 4:46 p.m. in his home on Fence Lake in Lac Du Flambeau, Wisconsin, surrounded by his family and friends. Donnie was born on May 17, 1968 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.

Donnie loved fishing, deer hunting, golfing, boating, playing horseshoes and visiting with friends and family. He honored his family and friends by living his life to the fullest.

Since 2004, he worked in construction for Stodola Maas.

Sgt. Allen served eight years in the United States Marine Corp from 1988 to 1996 and was a veteran of the Iraq War. He was a recipient of the Navy Achievement Medal and the Artillery Achievement Medal. He also was a winning team member of the 1994 J. E. Hill Rifle Match. Donnie was a marksmanship instructor at Camp Pendleton, California.

Donnie is survived by his partner Sherri Marth and their son Donnie Lee Allen, III of Lac du Flambeau and his daughter, Alicia Allen.

He is also survived by his mother Alice LaBelle, father Donnie Lee Allen, Sr., sisters Ann Allen and Monica Allen, brother Barry Allen all of Lac du Flambeau and brothers David Allen and Daniel Allen and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
