Summers, Milton G.

WISCONSIN, Green Bay – Funeral services were held for MILTON G. SUMMERS, 70, on March 19, 2010, at the Ryan Funeral Home in Green Bay. Interment followed at Holy Apostles Cemetery in Oneida, followed by Oneida Veterans Honors. Milton was born November 7, 1939, in Oneida. He passed away March 15, 2010, at a Green Bay hospital surrounded by his family.

    Milton, also known as Tony, had worked at Southern California Edison for twenty years prior to retirement and moving back to Green Bay in 2003 with his son and his family. He enjoyed a full life, especially dining out with his family members, eating his ice cream, incessant successful gambling, working on his databases on his computer, and attending his A.A. Meetings with his close friends. Milton attended Brigham Young University, obtained his BS in Manufacturing Technology, and served in the United States Navy. He was an integral member of Alcoholics Anonymous, where he formed lasting friendships that became family. He had been a dancer at powwows for many years and belonged to the Oneida Nation Hymn Singers. (Kalihwisaks, March 18, 2010)
