Listen and watch our short interview with Dr. John Anderson of the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe Reservation who conducted the blessing of a monarch butterfly habitat in Shell Lake, Wisconsin on April 26, 2008.

The event was sponsored by Mary Ellen Ryall and Happy Tonics who are educating the public about the plight of the Monarch Butterfly, food safety, importance of seed saving and the benefit of organic gardening. The group helped create the Native Wildflower and Butterfly Garden in downtown Shell Lake, Wisconsin.
